The draft royal decree focuses the risks posed by AI systems and includes provisions on risk assessments, reporting requirements and risk mitigation mechanisms. The decree takes a risk based approach to AI risk and categorizes obligations based on the risk level presented by the AI system.

Thailand

The ethical guidelines inform practices to be followed by researchers, developers, and service providers engaging in tech development. These principles must be complied by government ministries and agencies. 

These principles include: Competitiveness and Sustainability Development, Law Ethics and International Standards, Transparency and Accountability, Security and Privacy, Fairness, and Reliability.

The OECD drafted Principles on Artificial Intelligence. The OECD's 36 member countries and partner countries (including Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Costa Rica, Peru and Romania) adopted them in May 2019.
